At the Council Meeting of September 19, 2017, a revised staff report was presented that contained some information about agricultural equipment and road use (previous reports had not considered it). The Mayor stated that there is lots of time to discuss/decide what option to choose as the call for tenders would not be until January 2018.
Councillor Ferguson would like to get the equipment off the highway as a safety concern. Councillor Watters suggested looking at all bridges and set a standard. Council agreed that there is very good information in the report. It was recommended to refer the report to the Agricultural Committee.
The VOTE to refer the report was carried.
